Born and raised 1st half of life in Brooklyn, NY then moved upstate to Peekskill for my formative schooling years and now reside in beautiful Boothbay Harbor, Maine.
After getting a bike back in 2017 and riding for a year or two a buddy and myself decided to head to Windrock, TN to see our favorite elite riders race the clock, and that where I met the man who runs VitalMTB (Shawn Spomer) and who I would proceed to bug for the next six months to let me do something for the site. He finally caved and told me to find a camera and get to Killington where I would be using a DSLR camera for the first time ever. After 2 days on YouTube learning the basics I went to the race, did my job, was published, and was completely hooked after that.
For the past few years I have been paying my dues shooting races all up and down the east coast for VitalMTB, Pro Teams, Brands, and everyone in between, even covering a World Cup double-header by myself. My goal and dream since this journey began is to be a World Cup photographer and every season that goes by feels like I get closer and closer to that goal.
